Tutorial system has been introduced in the college for students with a view to improving the general discipline of the college. Tutorials should help in the academic progress, intellectual development and original contribution of students and their ability to critically appraise and discuss.
Students are grouped in small batches and each batch is put under the charge of a group tutor. Group tutor will keep regular watch over the progress and conduct of the student. Each student is expected to consult his/her tutor on all matters pertaining to academic and social life. The atmosphere of the tutorial system is as informal and free as possible and the tutor’s role is more of a counselor than the academician.
