NSS College, Nemmara, affiliated to the University of Calicut is a premier higher education institution located in the rural area of Palakkad district of Kerala, India. Established in 1966 by Late Bharatha Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan, the college offers twelve degree courses and three postgraduate courses and has around 1500 students and 80 staff members. Functioning under Nair Service Society (NSS), an organization dedicated to the upliftment of the Nair community, the college has played a pivotal role in democratizing education and empowering the youth of the region. The college is situated in a picturesque campus of 38 acres, nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats.<\/div>\n
